Put the brake at the right time

Always look for the factors that trigger such behavior in a child; keep your child away from that.
Check friend circle
Kids often pick habits from their friends. Know the root cause of the behavior.
Lay ground rule
When your child is calm, talk to him/her and lay some ground rules.
Warning is necessary

Teach them respect
Teach your child that in a communication, it is very important to respect the other individual and one should think twice before saying anything.
Do not engage in an argument
Always wait for the child to complete the talk and then you can say why it was not acceptable.
