TAWANG, Aug 13: Tawang district, in collaboration with the North East Zonal Cultural Centre (NEZCC), Dimapur, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and the Department of Art and Culture, organised the “Har Ghar Tiranga” Campaign 2025 at Government Secondary School, Seru.
According to an official statement, the event featured traditional dance competitions and solo song performances by students, highlighting the region’s cultural diversity and artistic talent.
In the house-wise competition, Patel House won first place, followed by Gandhi House in second and Nehru House in third.
All three teams received prizes for their performances.
The awards were presented by District Programme Coordinator (ISSE) Dondup, representing the Deputy Director of School Education, Tawang, who attended as the chief guest.
In his address, Dondup praised the students’ enthusiasm and urged them to take pride in their cultural heritage while contributing to national unity and progress.
The celebration reflected the spirit of the Har Ghar Tiranga movement, promoting patriotism alongside the preservation of local traditions.
