MORIGAON, Dec 2: Anomalies were alleged in D El Ed second semester examination at District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Morigaon. According to information received, as many as 17 candidates having nil attendances in the routine classes of Morigaon DIET have appeared in the D El Ed examination under SCERT (State Council for Education, Research and Training) this year.
As per rules and regulations of the Elementary Education department, to appear in the D El Ed examination of SCERT, one should have at least 70 percent of attendance in the classes. But, flouting the norms, several candidates having nil attendance in their classes appeared in the ongoing D El Ed examination at Morigaon DIET, which has caused concern among the educated circles.
