TEZPUR: The Assam Rifles stationed observed the National Armed Forces Day with an inspiring weapon display at Lokra Kendriya Vidyalaya.
A total of 203 students from KV, Assam Rifles High School and Gyan Vikas Academy witnessed the mega event.
During the programme, the display team of Assam Rifles interacted with the children and briefed them about the significance of each weapon and equipment and its role in safeguarding the nation.

The event concluded with group interaction, in which the students expressed their enthusiasm to join Armed Forces and serve the nation with pride and glory. Officials said that event would reinvigorate mutual trust among the armed forces and the public and foster a sense of patriotism and respect for the armed forces among the students.
