NAGAON, July 16: Arogya Care Foundation, in collaboration with Healing Hands under the National Ayush Mission, Assam, successfully organised a free health checkup camp for children with disabilities at Rajagaon LP School in the district.
The purpose of the camp was to ensure the health and well-being of specially abled children by providing them with necessary medical checkups and early intervention services.
Shravan Kumar Bora, DPM, National AYUSH Mission, Assam, attended the program as the chief guest, while Jadumoni Chetia, BEEO, Batadrava, was present as the invitee.
Dr Bhaskar Sharma and Dr Baharul Islam from NHM, along with laboratory technician Debasish Debnath from Redcliffe Labs, conducted successful checkups for over 50 children with disabilities.
The entire program was efficiently managed by block resource persons under Inclusive Education, Babul Uddin Ahmed, Himan Jyoti Bora, and Rofiqul Islam of Batadrava Education Block. The event was supervised by yoga instructor Trishal Dey and Rup Jyoti Kar, secretary of Arogya Care Foundation, it was stated in a press note here.
