Assam: Mystery deepens into the discovery of missing person’s body in Brahmaputra

Guwahati, Feb 9: A body was discovered at the bank of the Brahmaputra River in Palashbari, Kamrup district, Assam on Friday.

The individual, missing from Boragaon, Guwahati under unexplained circumstances, has been identified as Govinda Rajbongshi. The missing person was found wearing a black t-shirt at the Palashbari ghat.

The Palashbari police were alerted about the incident. The identity of the person was initially unknown until family members arrived at the scene to identify the body.

The family reported that Govinda Rajbongshi had been missing since February 02, 2024.
