The meeting was attended by several dignitaries, including 85-year-old senior alumnus Rejibur Rahman (popularly known as Anaar), other veteran former students, current and former teachers, and well-wishers. During the meeting, it was decided that a Century Celebration Committee would be formed to oversee the arrangements. Notably, prominent social worker Durga Borthakur, who served as the president of the Platinum Jubilee Celebration Committee in 2000, has been appointed as the president of the Century Celebration Committee.

The committee has made an earnest appeal to the public for their cooperation and support in making this milestone celebration a grand success.

Manoroma Baruah will serve as the working president, while the school’s headmistress, Sangita Devi, and Ashok Baruah have been appointed as joint secretaries. Souvik Bordoloi has been named the treasurer, and the cultural secretaries include Sujali Sonowal, Arifa Begum, Mayur Rakhi Barua, and Bharati Buragohain. Several sub-committees have also been formed to ensure the event’s success.
