BISWANATH CHARIALI, April 21: Lokra Battalion of Headquarter 21 Sector Assam Rifles and Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organised interaction and motivational talk for local youth undergoing pre-recruitment training at Lokra Battalion on Tuesday. During the event, Brigadier V S Guleria, SM; Sector Commander, Agartala Sector interacted with the pre-recruit trainees who have recently cleared physical standard tests for recruitment in Assam Police and Indian Army. Sector Commander appreciated the dedication and hardwork of the trainees and also gave them motivational talk and guidance for clearing the remaining tests. The Sector Commander also mentioned that the overwhelming response by the youth to join the Armed Forces showcases the shifting of focus towards progress and development in the north-east. The event culminated with the felicitations of all selected trainees by Sector Commander. The positive role played by Assam Rifles for ensuring support and training to the youth was widely appreciated by the trainees.
