BISWANATH CHARIALI, Dec 5: Assam Rifles organised a career counseling session for youth at Burhagaon High School, Lokra, on Wednesday, stated a press release. The event aimed to raise awareness about cancer prevention, early detection, and the importance of a healthy lifestyle. A total of 71 civilians, including 15 boys, 54 girls, 2 teachers, and 8 personnel from the Assam Rifles, attended the session. The session provided valuable insights into cancer risks, myths, and coping strategies, encouraging students to adopt proactive health measures. The interactive session concluded with a question-and-answer segment, fostering an open dialogue to address community concerns and promote a supportive community.
