The complainant, refusing to pay, sought legal action against Bora. In response, the Directorate set a trap in Bora’s office, where he was captured accepting Rs. 2,000 of the demanded bribe.

The bribe money was seized from Bora in the presence of independent witnesses. A case has been registered against Bora at the ACB Police Station on February 7, 2024, under Section 7(a) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (as amended in 2018).
