Guwahati, Feb 7: Dispur Police apprehended two individuals on Wednesday in connection with a robbery at a clothing store in Ganeshguri, Guwahati. The incident took place on January 31, with the stolen goods and cash now recovered. The shop owner, Momrez Khan of Ratul Garments, lodged a complaint following the crime.
The store, located in the Janapath Market Complex, was reportedly broken into during the night, with numerous clothing items and approximately Rs 80,000 stolen.

The police investigation led to the arrest of two suspects, Dipak Das (42) from Ganeshguri, Guwahati, and Rajib Ali (24) from Barpeta. The recovered items, including full and half sleeve jackets, blazer coats, jumpers, sweatshirts, shirts, ladies undergarments, track pants, cotton trousers, jeans, Phillips hair and styling products, a Samsung mobile, an old model android mobile and Rs 79,400 in cash, were seized. The accused have been remanded in judicial custody for further proceedings.
