GUWAHATI, Sept 19: On Sunday, ‘Gagana’, the Assamese People’s Association, organised a reverent celebration of ‘Bhado Mahor Naam’ at ‘Lodha Aqua’, Mira Road, Mumbai. For the Assamese people, the month of Bhado holds profound significance as it marks the birth of Lord Krishna and the death anniversaries of the revered Mahapurush Sri Sri Sankardev and Sri Sri Madhavdev, both of whom made immense contributions to the social, cultural, and religious fabric of the Assamese community.

The melodious sounds of the flute, nagara, and taal created an enchanting atmosphere.
