GUWAHATI, July 17: In a significant achievement in the fight against trans-border crimes and smuggling along the Indo-Bangladesh International Border, Border Security Force (BSF) troops from the Guwahati Frontier, in collaboration with the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) team from Siliguri, apprehended an Indian smuggler in Coochbehar district, West Bengal. Acting on reliable information, the 90th Battalion BSF and the DRI team launched a special joint operation in Coochbehar, resulting in the capture of the smuggler with 10 gold biscuits weighing 1.194 kilograms and valued at Rs 87,00,000.
