CPI Sivasagar observes National Security Day

SIVASAGAR, Dec 30: The CPI, Sivasagar District Council celebrated ‘National Security Day’ at the Sivasagar District Office on Thursday. Retired teacher and communist leader Kushal Bargohai presided over the meeting held on the occasion. CPI state secretary Kanak Gogoi strongly criticised the government for the continuous attacks on the constitutional system of the country. The party observed ‘National Security Day’ across the country on Thursday and asked all other democratic parties and organisations to unite. The objectives of the programme were explained by the district secretary, Mani Buragohain.
