Educational discussion and formation of ATTSA Demow College Committee

DEMOW, Aug 18: The All Tea Tribes Students Association (ATTSA) Demow branch orchestrated an educational discussion at the Demow Athabari Tea Labourers Kalyan Kendra. This insightful event brought together Tea Tribes Students from Demow College on Thursday. Simultaneously, the formation of the ATTSA Demow College Committee marked a significant milestone on the same day.

Raj Kishore Bhumij, president of ATTSA Sivasagar district Committee, chaired the educational discussion meeting. During the session, Biswanath Nag, secretary of ATTSA Demow Branch, elucidated the objectives of the association.

A notable gathering of leaders graced the occasion, including Diganta Sahu Tassa, vice-president of ATTSA Central Committee, and Tarun Kurmi, secretary of Chah Janajati Jatiya Sanmilani Sivasagar district. The event also saw the participation of leaders from ATTSA and ATTWA.

In a pivotal development, the ATTSA Demow College Committee was formally established during the meeting. Shyam Telenga was chosen as the president, while Rubul Rajbonshi was appointed as the secretary of this newly formed committee. This move is poised to foster educational discourse and initiatives within the tea tribes student community of Demow College.
