SIVASAGAR, April 19: The true identity of a social media master blaster critic, writer and the fictitious professor of Delhi University and that too of Physics, Paridhi Sharma has been revealed by the state CID on Thursday.
The real person behind the facade is an unassuming and tricky home-tutor of Bharaluwa gaon, Dikhowmukh in Sivasagar district- Dhrubajyoti Saikia who has been making a name as a serious writer commentator on variety of social and educational issues. A case was registered in Gaurisagar PS (Case no 8/2025) for cheating people by opening a fake facebook account.The cheat used a photo of a lady IAS officer of Karnataka cadre in his account. OC Gaurisagar, Tikheswar Narah told this correspondent today that a CID officer from Guwahati has been investigating the case after an FIR had been filed against Saikia by one Polash Ranjan Baruah of Guwahati. Dhrubajyoti Saiikia however,now tendered unconditional apology to his readers for impersonating a university professor and cheating his readers.
