NAGAON, Jan 27: Following the directive of the ECI ( Election Commission of India), the final electoral roll of seven assembly constituencies including Raha, Nagaon, Barhampur, Dhing, Batadrova, Rupahihat and Samaguri LACs under Nagaon Election district and Kaliabor LAC under Kaliabor Subdivision were published here on Friday.
According to the final roll, there are 7,15,678 male electors and 7,02,361 female electors in Nagaon election district. The sex ratio as per the current electoral roll is 981 while the population ratio in percentage is 60.77%, stated an official release.
It was also stated in the release that 22,205 claims had been received for inclusion in electoral roll; out of which 17,030 claims were admitted while 4,436 objections had been realised, of which 2,867 were acknowledged.
