NAGAON, Jan 3: The 6th foundation day of Lutani Chapari Jatiya Vidyalaya was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor on Friday here.

The event was marked by a cultural procession, where students showcased their talents and also made awareness against superstition as well as child marriage.

 The head of Kolangpar Shishu Jatiya Vidyalaya, Ripunjai Bora, chaired the open session of the event which was mentored by Pallav Jyoti Goswami. Abdul Awal, head of Lutani Chapori Jatiya Vidyalaya, initiated the session with a welcome address while Sunil Bora, the president of district unit of Asom Jatiya Vidyalaya attended the event as the chief guest.

Bora highlighted the achievements of the institution and thanked the parents, teachers, and students for their support. Dayananda Goswami who attended the event as special guest, emphasized the importance of education and urged parents to be vigilant about their children’s activities.

The celebration concluded with a cultural program in the evening.
