Journalist Abdul Rouf Alamgir brutally killed in Boko, ASJU demands justice

SIVASAGAR, June 26:
 The Assam State Journalists Union (ASJU) has strongly condemned the brutal killing of journalist Abdul Rouf Alamgir in Boko, Assam. The young journalist was abducted from his home by unidentified criminals on Saturday last, and his body was recovered from Tulsi River on Monday morning. The ASJU, in a release signed by its president Jitu Sarma Rajkhowa and secretary Pradip Deka, has demanded the immediate arrest of the murderers and their punishment according to the law. The ASJU extends its heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased journalist.
