Addressing reporters at a press conference held at the District & Sessions Court conference hall on Thursday, Sumit Bhuyan, secretary of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Kokrajhar, stated that a range of cases, including civil disputes, cheque bounce issues, banking matters, road accident claims, money recovery, land acquisition disputes, and divorce cases, will be addressed in the Lok Adalat.

He urged all stakeholders and litigants to actively participate in the event to achieve amicable settlements. He highlighted that the Lok Adalat is a cost-effective and time-saving mechanism for dispute resolution, benefiting individuals and reducing the burden on the judiciary.
