NFR Women’s Welfare Organisation Celebrates Independence Day

GUWAHATI, Aug 17:
 Northeast Frontier Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation (NFRWWO) celebrated 76th Independence Day of the nation in a befitting manner by observing various programmes throughout the day. Abha Gupta, president, NFRWWO hoisted the national flag at Jagriti Siksha Sadan, Pandu and distributed sweets to the students.
Abha Gupta along with other members of NFRWWO also visited NFR Central Hospital at Maligaon. During the visit, she distributed gifts and various other essential items amongst the admitted patients. She also donated steel water storage drums and a microwave oven to the hospital. She was accompanied by vice president, secretary and executive committee members of NFRWWO.
NFRWWO plays an important role in the field of employee welfare and need-based social service through its multifarious activities. The organisation always rises to the call of society and assists the needy people in difficult times.
