GUWAHATI, March 15: Â L S Changsan, additional secretary and mission director of the National Health Mission under the Union ministry of health and family welfare is on a visit to the state to review various health programmes.
Changsan on Friday participated in a regional level training programme held at the Assam Water Centre in Guwahati, where she felicitated the participants.
The five-day training programme is being organized for the District Early Intervention Center staff. The programme is being conducted for the first time in the Northeast by the state Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram Cell of the National Health Mission, Assam.
The mission director will review various health programmes under the National Health Mission, Assam such as CPHC-Ayushman Arogya Mandir, Rastriya Bal Suraksha Karyakram (RBSK), PM-ABHIM, 15th Finance Commission, Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) and Assam Cancer Care Foundation among others
P Ashok Babu, commissioner and secretary of the state health and family welfare department and M S Lakshmi Priya, mission director of National Health Mission, Assam were also present on the occasion.
