MARGHERITA, Sept 11: The North Eastern Coal Traders Association (NECTA) Margherita was formed with the aim of purchasing legal coal from NEC CIL Margherita. The formation meeting took place at Margherita Kalibari premises, with Raju Gupta presiding over the proceedings, and Jitu Das delivering the aims and objectives of the association.
The primary goal of NECTA Margherita is to facilitate the smooth and honest operation of the legal coal business, providing opportunities for educated youth in Margherita to engage in this industry and earn a livelihood.
During the meeting, a 40-member committee was formed with Narayan Chandra Paul as advisor; Manik Nath as president; Jitu Das as general secretary; Vinod Kumar Gourh as assistant secretary.
The establishment of this association aims to support legal coal trading activities in the region and create opportunities for local residents.
