Hem Prabha Devi, a revered nonagenarian known for her unwavering commitment to both religious and social causes, and a dedicated activist during the Assam Movement, peacefully passed away at her residence in Samaguri Sutar Bokultol village last Thursday. She was 92 years old. Throughout her life, she remained actively involved with several local religious organisations, leaving a lasting impact on the community she served. She is survived by four loving sons and a large circle of relatives.
