HOJAI, May 27: The prize distribution ceremony of Rabindranath Tagore University Varsity Week- 2023 was organised at the RTU auditorium hall with one day long programme on Friday. Saurabh Gupta, superintendent of police, Hojai graced the occasion as chief guest. The ceremony was organised under the presidentship of Dr Amar Gautam, academic registrar.
During this occasion, Dr Satyajeet Kumar, Devoraj Mili, Dr Pabitra Rai and many other lecturers were present. They all spoke on the occasion and encouraged students. Notably, this year based on the performance in different games and sports, Assamese department received the award of best department followed by History department as second best department, Bangla and Commerce department both received the award of third best department. The best individual performers in different games and sports were also awarded.
