SBI-RSETI conducts training on papad, pickle making

DIPHU, Feb 5: A ten day training programmee on papad, pickle and masala powder making for women was conducted from January 27 to February 5 held at SBI Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) building , Diphu market.

The training programmee was conducted by SBI – RSETI, Diphu in commemoration of the 76th Republic Day celebration by the SBI – RSET, for women empowerment.

 In the 10 day training programme 28 women took part in the training programme.

On the concluding day on Wednesday all the trainees were given the certificates for their participation. Speaking on the concluding day function the Director, SBI – RSETI, Dasarath Brahma said the training programmee was conducted to commemorate the 76th Republic Day celebration here. In all over India there are 153 RSETI by SBI, where different training programmes for women have been organised. “Every RSETI conducts training on various subjects, here we organised training on making pickles, papads and masala powder. The 10 day training programmee was free of cost. It is a residential training, where fooding and lodging are provided for the trainees. We hope after attending the training programmee the trainees will be equipped the skills and knowledge received.”

Brahma also informed that interested persons could approach the RSETI, Diphu office at SBI market branch building top floor,  for queries on training programme. “It is for unemployed rural youths with age of 18 to 45. It is funded under the Ministry of Rural Development (MORD), Govt. of India. To avail the benefit the candidates should have an Aadhar card as biometric is used,” Brahma added.
