Biswanath Chariali, June 27: A one-day seminar on ‘Career Guidance and Counselling’ and ‘Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health’ was successfully organised by the Career Guidance Cell in collaboration with the Youth and Eco-Club of Dakhin Nagsankar High School, Samar Dalani. The seminar took place in the conference hall of the school with Ballav Chapagain, the headmaster of the school, presiding over the event. Dr Chinta Mani Sharma, the principal of Biswanath College, graced the seminar as the resource person. Dr Sharma provided valuable information about career opportunities and emphasised the need for mental health education in educational institutions. He highlighted the importance of mental wellbeing for the overall development of individuals. The session was attended by Chandan Upadhyaya, president of SMDC, as well as parents, guardians, teachers, and students of the school. Anjan Baskota, the nodal teacher of the Youth and Eco Club, efficiently conducted the proceedings of the seminar. Mina Thapa, the nodal teacher of the Career Guidance Cell, expressed gratitude and offered a vote of thanks to all participants.
