SIVASAGAR, Nov 17: Sivasagar district commissioner Aditya Vikram Yadav took stock of the progress of
all development works in the district and issued required directives to expedite their implementations.
He reviewed the development activities during a meeting of the district development committee held at
the Siu-Ka-Fa Bhawan in Sivasagar.
Yadav especially called upon the public health engineering department, APDCL, Assam Gas Company,
and other departments concerned to extend emergency assistance and cooperation to the Lok Nirman
department in construction of roads.
In the meeting, Devajyoti Gogoi, inspector of schools of the Sivasagar circle sought the cooperation of all
departments concerned for the successful implementation of the Gunatsav 2024 to be held from
January 3 next year.
District heads of the departments of transport, sericulture, rural livelihood mission, water resources,
forest, APDCL, Lok Nirman( Building and Road), fishery, public health engineering, social forestry,
education, health and family welfare, food and civil supplies, agriculture, veterinary and industry and
commerce presented their development reports before the DC.
The meeting was attended by Sivasagar deputy district commissioner Bitopan Neog, Jila Parishad CEO
Aswini Doley, assistant commissioner Bornali Khatiwara and other senior officials.
