GUWAHATI, Sept 20: A street play titled ‘Be Conscience About the Unconscious’ was staged at Guwahati International Airport on Wednesday to foster an organisational culture that promotes a supportive workplace environment. The theatrical performance was organised by Transformis, a leading company in this initiative.
The play employed dramatic storytelling to shed light on various workplace activities that often unconsciously affect employees but are seldom discussed openly.
Following each thematic episode in the street play, the artists engaged in interactive discussions with the audience to delve deeper into these activities. The three main themes addressed were unconscious bias, learning and development alignment, and intervention.
The event saw the participation of all airport officials, including chief airport officer Utpal Baruah, who emphasised the primary goal of the event: “The main objective of conducting this event is to ensure that every male or female employee working in our organisation is mentally strong and free from caste, race, language, and religious discrimination among each other. This awareness street play aims to create a cultural working environment with strong moral support. I hope this street play will strengthen the sense of unity among all our employees.”
