Student leader passes away

DEMOW, Jan 5: Biswajyoti (Akoni) Dutta (45), son of Ranu Dutta, and a resident of Sukanpukhuri near Demow passed away in a private hospital in Dibrugarh on Sunday.

 Biswajyoti Dutta was the former president of the Demow Regional Student Union and former organizational secretary of Sivasagar District Students Union.

Dutta was suffering from liver ailments. The leaders of the Demow Regional Students Union paid tribute to Dutta and offered their deepest condolence to the bereaved family. He is survived by his wife, parents, and a host of relatives.
