SIVASAGAR, Jan 12: In a media address at Demow Chariali on Monday, MP Gaurav Gogoi expressed confidence that thousands of supporters will rally behind Rahul Gandhi during the upcoming Nyay Yatra in Assam. The enthusiastic response is expected as people eagerly await their leader’s march in various locations, including Majuli, Amguri, Batadroba, etc. Gogoi said that through the Nyay Yatra, Rahul Gandhi aims to bring attention to the longstanding issues faced by the people of Assam on a national platform. He further mentioned that the BJP is wary of Rahul’s popularity, fearing its potential impact on the ruling party’s electoral prospects.
Gaurav Gogoi clarified that he is willing to contest from any constituency his party deems fit, and there is no valid reason for the BJP to make an issue out of it.
