Truck carrying illegal cattle seized

DEMOW, Sept 9: In a recent incident, the leaders of Demow Regional Students Union seized a truck on
NH-37 Road in Demow Chariali. The truck was found to be carrying illegal cattle and was subsequently
handed over to Demow Police.
According to sources, the truck with registration number NL 01AE 7804 was traveling from Demow
Dehajan and was transporting approximately 40 illegal cattle. Acting on a tip-off, leaders of the Demow
Regional Students Union intercepted the truck in Demow Chariali on Friday evening. They questioned
the occupants of the truck about its cargo, and when they received false answers, they inspected the
contents of the vehicle, revealing the illegal cattle.
The Demow Police have initiated an investigation into the incident to determine further details and
appropriate actions.
