This is Northeast’s most premier event on Diabetes and Endocrinology. The latest treatment, tips and pitfalls of Diabetes, Thyroid and other Hormone management were discussed in a pragmatic way.

The event started way back in 2018 and has grown leaps and bounds because of its Quality of unbiased Content. This year more than 25 National Faculty travelled to Guwahati to share their experience and knowledge. There was an open mic session and eposter session for postgraduates which was truly remarkable.

Legends like Dr Harsha Bhattacharjee, Dr Nomal Chandra Borah, Dr Tonmoy Das and Dr Dulal Chandra Borkotoky were felicitated in the “Diabetes Pearls” session for their contribution in serving the people of the North East.

The conference is the brain child of Dr Mithun Bhartia who had spent more than 12 years in the UK, decided to migrate back to Assam from the UK to bring structured Medical Education and evidence based treatment to serve the people of Northeast.

The meeting is rated very high in the country because of its scientific content. It strikes the right balance with theory and practice and aims to upscale local doctors of Northeast with recent advancements in management of Diabetes and Endocrinology cases.

Dr Banshi Saboo, the mentor of Dr Mithun Bhartia, is the organising chair of the event. Dr Rajkumar Bhartia is the Convenor of the event.
