GUWAHATI, Aug 2: North East India’s largest confluence of building materials, architecture, interior design, and construction – the BAIC Exhibition – will be held at Maniram Dewan Trade Centre in Guwahati from August 9 to 11. This grand event will gather over 5,000 dealers and distributors, 100+ exhibitors, 300+ builders and developers, and around 7,000 participants. The exhibition will showcase India’s top architectural marvels, building material companies and dealers, designers, manufacturers, consultants, engineers, project managers, government officials, and enthusiasts.
Addressing a curtain-raiser press conference on Friday, BAIC founders Neha Malhotra and Maloxmi Sinha (Miilee) described the exhibition as a unique and unprecedented event in the entire north-east region. They emphasised that this exhibition serves as a catalyst for business deals and a hub for innovative solutions, offering a one-stop platform for all stakeholders in the industry.
“The north-east region has always sought comprehensive solutions under one roof, and this collective effort will undoubtedly bring immense benefits to everyone involved,” said the founders. They added that the event is ideal for building material manufacturers, dealers from north-east India, architects, interior designers, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and project engineers. It is also highly recommended for those looking to stay informed about the latest trends in construction and interior design. Moreover, this event presents a fantastic opportunity for individuals currently building their dream homes to gain valuable insights and resources.
Union minister Sarbananda Sonowal and state ministers Bimal Bora, Sanjoy Kishan, Ashok Singhal, and Jayanta Malla Baruah are the honourable guests for the inauguration of the exhibition on August 9.
