GUWAHATI, Oct 14: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini visited the Kamakhya Devi Temple in Guwahati, Assam, where he performed prayers and sought blessings from the Goddess Kamakhya, the Minister informed on Monday.
In a post on the micro-blogging platform X, CM Saini shared that he prayed for the progress and well-being of Haryana, expressing his desire for the prosperity of his state’s people through the divine grace of the goddess.
Saini wrote, “At the Kamakhya Devi Temple in Guwahati, I prayed to Goddess Kamakhya for the development and happiness of Haryana. May her blessings always guide the welfare of my family in the state.”
He also extended his respect to the goddess, expressing his devotion. The Chief Minister was joined by Haryana BJP President Mohan Lal Badoli and State General Secretary (Organization) Phanindranath Sharma.
Meanwhile, Assam’s Irrigation Minister Ashok Singhal took to X to express his joy over CM Saini’s visit to the temple.
Singhal mentioned that he had the honor of accompanying CM Saini, his wife, and other leaders to the revered Shakti Peeth.
“Fortunate to visit the sacred Kamakhya Devi Temple along with Haryana CM Nayab Saini ji, his wife, and BJP Haryana President Mohan Lal Badoli ji. May Goddess Kamakhya’s blessings always be with us,” Singhal wrote.
