GUWAHATI, Aug 21: In an effort to localise the United Nations’
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the district level, the
District Administration of Kohima and Tseminyu in
collaboration with the SDG Coordination Centre of the Planning
& Transformation Department organised the consultation for
formulating the SDG District Roadmaps at DC’s conference hall
Kohima today.
Delivering the keynote address, deputy commissioner
Tseminyu, Dr. Tino Chang highlighted about the importance of
SDGs, emphasizing their significance in fostering sustainable
and inclusive development at the district level. Joint Secretary
Home, Hiazu Meru also highlighted the importance segregating
the data for the newly formed districts. The key objective of the
consultation was to chart a clear path for the Kohima and
Tseminyu districts to achieve the targets and vision set forth in
the ‘Nagaland SDG Vision 2030: Leaving No One Behind’.
