Majuli Island

Majuli, the world's largest river island, offers a rich Vaishnavite culture with unique workshops showcasing pottery and mask-making. Best visited between October and March, it is accessible by ferry from Nimati Ghat near Jorhat.

Haflong

Known as the "Land of Blue Hills," Haflong is Assam's only hill station. Highlights include Haflong Lake, Jatinga village, and interactions with Dimasa and Zeme Naga tribes. The best time to visit is October to February.
