Forest officials from the Kheroni Southern Range in West Karbi Anglong seized Illegal timber

KHERONI, May 19: Forest officials from the Kheroni Southern Range in West Karbi Anglong seized a tractor, bearing registration number AS02 BC 9361, laden with illegal timber on Saturday evening. The trailer of the tractor was found to be loaded with sawn illegal timber during an operation conducted at Diklem village in the evening hours.

Following the operation, the tractor along with the illicit timber has been transported to the office of the Southern Range of the Forest Department for further action.
