Good Show By Students Of Twin Districts Of Karbi Anglong

DIPHU, June 27: Students from two districts of Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong have done well in the Higher Secondary final year examinations, results of which were declared across the state on Monday.

In the Arts stream in Karbi Anglong, out of 3,640 appeared, 2,619 could make it with a pass percentage of 71.95%.

In the Commerce stream out of 518 students, 455 came out successful with a pass percentage of 87.84 %. In the Science stream out of 452 appeared 378 passed with a pass percentage of 83.63%.

In West Karbi Anglong, out of 1,109 students that appeared in the Arts stream, 936 students have passed. The pass percentage is 84.40 %.

132 got first division, 422 second and 382 third division. In the Commerce stream, of the 15 students that appeared 9 students have passed. The pass percentage is 93.33%. 4 passed in the first, 9 in the second and 1 in the third division.

In Diphu Govt College, 258 students from three streams had appeared and out of them, 195 have passed with a pass percentage of 75.58%.

In the Arts stream out of 164 students, 116 have appeared. Pass percentage is 70.73%. 8 passed in the first division, 33 in the second division and 75 in the third division. While in the Science stream out of 69 students appeared, 64 have passed. Pass percentage is 94.20%. There are 29 in the first division, 33 in the second division and 2 passed in the third division and in the Commerce stream out of 25 students that appeared 15 have passed.

Pass percentage is 60 %. There is no first division, 6 passed in the second and 9 passed in the third division.
