Assam: Youth dies in road accident near Janata Bhawan, family suspects foul play

Guwahati, Nov 13: A young man tragically lost his life in a road accident near Janata Bhawan in Guwahati’s Dispur locality on Diwali night (Sunday).

The deceased was identified as Sunny Sarma from the Zoo-Tiniali area. Sarma, riding a two-wheeler with registration number AS 01DG 5390, was involved in an alleged collision with a four-wheeler coming from the opposite direction.

The family members of the deceased suspect foul play, pointing out multiple damage marks on the victim’s neck and abdomen. The deceased’s elder sister has claimed that her brother was murdered, alleging that he was attacked with a knife. Sarma was found dead on the pavement.
