TEZPUR, April 16: As the countdown to the 1st Phase of Poll for the General Election to Lok Sabha 2024 draws near, with 11-Sonitpur HPC also set to go to polls on April 19, 2024, the office of the district election officer, Sonitpur, organised a comprehensive group training session for polling personnel engaged in the Parliamentary Election 2024.
The extensive training program unfolded across two venues, namely Tezpur H S Government School and Tezpur College. Over 5000 polling personnel gathered on Tuesday to receive vital training on their roles and responsibilities in the electoral process.
They also had the opportunity to address any queries or uncertainties they had regarding their tasks.
District Commissioner cum district election officer of Sonitpur and returning officer of 11-Sonitpur HPC, Deba Kumar Mishra, personally visited both training venues to interact with the trainees.
Mishra actively participated in sharing valuable insights and knowledge about the entire election process, enriching the training experience for all attendees.
