KOKRAJHAR, Feb 8: A workshop related to Advantage Assam 2.0 was held at the Bodoland Administrative Staff College, Chandamari in Kokrajhar on Saturday.
The event focused on boosting investment and entrepreneurship across the five districts of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR)—Kokrajhar, Chirang, Baksa, Tamulpur and Udalguri.
Assam cabinet minister and Kokrajhar Guardian minister, Urkhao Gwra Brahma graced the event and emphasised the immense investment potential in BTR. Addressing the gathering, Brahma described Advantage Assam 2.0 as a golden opportunity for entrepreneurs to register and take advantage of government schemes supporting both new and expanding businesses.
Minister Brahma urged entrepreneurs to actively participate in the upcoming Advantage Assam 2.0 event, scheduled for February 25 and 26, to explore new avenues for industrial growth. He highlighted that such initiatives will further strengthen Assam’s position as India’s Emerging Growth Engine.
Expressing gratitude to chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for his leadership in driving transformative industrial growth in Assam, Brahma reiterated the government’s commitment to foster an investor-friendly environment in BTR and the state as a whole.
District commissioner, Kokrajhar Masanda Magdalin Pertin, senior government officials were also present on the occasion.
