DHUBRI, May 4: Just ahead of the 3rd phase of Loksabha election in Assam, the students of Education department at Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Vishwavidyalaya, Dhubri Unit took a creative approach to draw attention on vote awareness, performed thought a provoking drama titled “Mera vote meri sarkar” on May 3.
The drama was directed by Swarnali Mandal, assistant professor, department of education, MSSV, Dhubri Unit. The event started with an enlightening speech by Swarnali Mandal, who emphasized the critical importance of voting in a democratic society, highlighting how each vote shapes the future of the nation. Followed by her speech, the drama unfolded a series of scenes depicting the power of vote. The students involved in bringing this impactful performance to the stage were Debjani Paul, Nasifa Zaman, Mohosina Choudhury, Riya Paul, Arifa Sultana Rahman, Nur Husenara Begum, Prosenjit Roy, Farzina Aktar and Moromi Yeasmin. The drama showcased not only the artistic talent of the students but also left a lasting impact on the vote consciousness of the audience.
