Reportedly, Payeng was delivering his speech on the topic ‘Wildlife and Environment’.

Emphasising the tangible and impactful solutions to climate change, Payeng said, “Nature is our real God, Allah, etc. Instead of building concrete temples, mosques, or churches to worship God, let’s all plant trees to protect nature with that money.”

Padma Shri Payeng urged all to come forward to dedicate everyone’s service to protect our nature and the environment.

Further, mentioning the role of the women’s community in maintaining the balance of nature, he urged the students and women to act for the protection of nature and play a pivotal role in this regard.

He said, as a result of global warming, the temperature has risen significantly, and it would reach 50 degrees celsius this year.

Several children have died due to the heat wave in the past year.
