Dr Jayanta Kr Sarmah, Associate professor awarded INSA-SRFP 2024

HOJAI, March 21: Dr Jayanta Kr Sarmah, an associate professor in the department of Chemistry at Rabindranath Tagore University, has been granted the esteemed Indian Academy of Science Summer Research Fellowship Program (INSA-SRFP) for teachers 2024. He will conduct his research at the Indian Institute of Petroleum (IIP) in Dehradun.

The renowned ‘Summer Research Fellowship Program’ (SRFP) is extended by the science academies, namely the Indian Academy of Sciences in Bengaluru, the Indian National Science Academy (INSA) in New Delhi, and The National Academy of Sciences (NASI) in Prayagraj. Its aim is to facilitate outstanding teachers to collaborate with distinguished Scientists affiliated with these three academies.
