Governor Gulab Chand Kataria Receives Honorary Degree

GUWAHATI, Sept 1: Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria has been honoured with ‘Doctor of Letters’ degree in social work by Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (deemed to be a university). The degree has been conferred on the Governor on 18^th convocation of the university.

In a statement, the Governor said, “I am humbled by the gesture of the university which in acknowledgement of my contributions to the society has honoured me with the degree. It is an honour as I will remain committed to make a positive impact on our society and humanity.”

The Governor also wished the university to continue its noble work of nurturing bright minds and contributing to the growth of the nation.
