KOKRAJHAR, April 1: A health and wellness camp was carried out on Tuesday at the Titaguri High School premises in Kokrajhar.
The camp was organised by District Health Society, Kokrajhar to create awareness on the health and wellness amongst the citizens across the region.
The executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), Ranjit Basumatary amidst presence of officials, students and attending people emphasized the importance of accessible healthcare services for the community.
The camp aimed to provide free healthcare services to the local population and raise awareness about various health programs and government schemes.
A team of medical professionals conducted check-ups, consultations, and provided essential health guidance to attendees.
Students, teachers, local citizens and senior citizens, attended and benefitted from the services offered at the camp.
The camp was launched for the district under the theme of healthy society and healthy Assam which has received a good response from the citizens.
The camp has also been initiated at all state dispensaries, sub health centers and several places involving citizens across the district.
