The Seltos brand holds great significance for Kia Corporation, accounting for one out of every ten Kia cars sold globally. With the introduction of the new Seltos, Kia aims to revolutionize and revamp the mid-SUV segment by offering best-in-class features and a stunning design. Currently, the Seltos brand contributes 55% to Kia India’s overall sales. In line with its growth plans, Kia India has unveiled a new transformation journey called Kia 2.0. Under this initiative, the company has set ambitious targets, including achieving a 10% market share, doubling the existing network of touchpoints from 300+ to 600+, and establishing RV leadership through innovative new products. These endeavors reflect Kia’s commitment to expansion, customer satisfaction, and market leadership.

The new Seltos is equipped with advanced Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) featuring 17 adaptive features, which are typically found in super premium cars like the EV6. With an additional 15 robust safety features that come standard across the range, the new Seltos boasts a remarkable total of 32 safety features, setting a new benchmark for safety in its segment. Powered by the efficient Smartstream G1.5 T-GDi Petrol engine, generating an impressive 160ps of power and 253 Nm of torque, Kia now offers the most powerful engine in the rapidly growing mid-SUV segment.

The New Seltos showcases several segment-leading features, including a Dual Screen Panoramic Display with a 26.04 cm Fully Digital Cluster and a 26.03 cm HD Touchscreen Navigation system. It also features a Dual Zone Fully Automatic Air Conditioner and R18 46.20 cm Crystal Cut Glossy Black Alloy Wheels. Additionally, Kia has included highly anticipated features like the Dual Pane Panoramic Sunroof and Electric Parking Brake, making the new Seltos an extremely attractive proposition. The vehicle’s muscular and sporty look is accentuated by the crown jewel LED Headlamps and LED Connected tail lamps, featuring the Kia Signature Star map lighting concept.

Tae-Jin Park, Managing Director and CEO of Kia India, expressed confidence in the new Seltos and its ability to lead the premium RV market. He emphasized that the launch of the new Seltos is a crucial step in Kia’s ambition to achieve a 10% market share in India.
