MARGHERITA, Feb 9: After the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Central Committee declared 3 candidates from Assam for the upcoming MP Election on Thursday, party workers in Margherita cheered on Friday after Manoj Dhanowar received the MP ticket for the 14th Dibrugarh Lok Sabha HPC.
Rupam Ghosh, Aam Aadmi Party Margherita in-charge, said, “We are very happy and excited as Manoj Dhanowar has been given the MP ticket for the 14th Dibrugarh Lok Sabha HPC by the Aam Aadmi Party central committee.”
Ghosh added that in the 83rd number Margherita constituency, there are more than 7000 active Aam Aadmi Party members and workers who are wholeheartedly working day and night for the party. The main agenda of the Aam Aadmi Party is to establish a corruption-free government, improve the education and health systems, eradicate unemployment, and control price inflation.
Under the 14th Dibrugarh Lok Sabha HPC, there are a total of 11 assembly constituencies created after the Assam Delimitation draft. They are Margherita, Digboi, Makum, Tinsukia, Chabua, Lahowal, Dibrugarh, Khowang, Duliajan, Tinkhong, and Naharkatiya assembly constituency.
