The review meetings, being held from May 29 to June 1 at the district party office in Jorhat, are being organised under the directive of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president and Jorhat MP Gaurav Gogoi.

The exercise began on Thursday with a review meeting for the Teok Legislative Assembly Constituency (LAC). Among those present were former Teok candidate Pallabi Saikia Gogoi, APCC vice-president Ghana Buragohain, general secretary Subhamitra Gogoi and secretary Abinash Gogoi.

According to party sources, the review meetings aim to conduct a detailed assessment of the party’s performance at the constituency and booth levels. Discussions will focus on the functioning of party organisations, the role of workers during the campaign, voter response, election experiences and measures required to strengthen the organisational structure.

The review meetings for Titabar, Jorhat and Mariani constituencies are scheduled to be held on May 30, May 31 and June 1 respectively.
